Welcome to Regina Minor Rugby! We are proud to offer a “Minis” program for kids ages 4 to 14, as well as a high school aged “Juniors” program for youth ages 15 to 18.

Rugby is a dynamic and exciting sport that is a whole lot of fun, and helps develop friendships that can last a lifetime. Regina Minor Rugby has been designed to help players develop their rugby skills as their physical ability develops, making the game as simple and safe as possible for all kids, regardless of their age, shape or size. The Regina Minor Rugby Model has been developed to ensure that there is a consistency of play, coaching and player welfare at all levels throughout the country, and is a great way of getting kids involved in a team sport.

Kids will learn basic skills in a fun and safe environment. The children are split into age groups and play with modified rules to ensure their safety.

Spring Registration occurs in February/March each year.

Fall program registration typically opens in summer (August).

NEW 2023:

Sask Rugby is offering a new brand of Rugby for children and youth in Saskatchewan in spring.  For ages 4-18, check back for 2024 information.

What is Sask FlagX Rugby? 

The game moves fast, does not involve contact, is tons of fun, keeps kids moving and teaches fundamentals of the game.  The one hour sessions will make the athletes work hard and have fun learning new concepts, while making new relationships along the way.

This program is in conjunction with Regina Minor Rugby. Players can register for this March/April session, then join Regina Minor Rugby for their regular season in May/June!
