Saskatchewan’s premier road race weekend with a “Race For Every Pace”. We encourage you to come run.  The annual Queen City Marathon (QCM), a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon, is more than a race, it is an amazing community event which attracts participants from all across Saskatchewan, Canada, the United States, and around the world. Races include a full walk/run marathon, half walk/run marathon, kids race, family race, night race, and more! Whether or not you race, you can participate by volunteering as well.

VOLUNTEERS FOR QCM ARE NEEDED!

Don’t want to race, but would still like to participate?  The GMS Queen City Marathon requires hundreds of volunteers to work in many different areas over race weekend: in the days before the race, during the race, and following the race.  Volunteers keep us running…and walking…and, depending how the day is going, sometimes crawling!

Currently the largest area of need is Sunday, Sept 11 with course marshals. If you have run before you know how important this role is, if you have never run before there is no better way to be energized than by the runners as they go past and thank you for helping out.
